Shifting the registered office within the same city, town, or village is a simple compliance task. Although it does not involve jurisdictional changes, the company must still notify the Registrar of Companies (ROC) within the prescribed time.

Process

Convene a Board Meeting and pass a resolution for the address change.
File INC-22 with the ROC within 30 days of the change.
Attach the required documents as proof of the new address.
The ROC will update the registered office address in its records.
