Special Resolution passed in EGM
Altered Memorandum of Association (MOA)

Certificate of Incorporation (for submission to ROC)

Process

7-10 Days Estimate

Step 1
Hold a Board Meeting to approve the proposed new name.
Step 2
Apply for name availability through RUN (Reserve Unique Name) on the MCA portal.
Step 3
Once approved, hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) and pass a special resolution.
Step 4
File MGT-14 with MCA within 30 days of passing the resolution.
Step 5
File INC-24 to obtain Central Government approval for the name change.
Step 6
Upon approval, the ROC will issue a new Certificate of Incorporation.
Step 7
Update the MOA and AOA to reflect the new name.
