Filing of CHG-4 (Satisfaction of Charge)

Assistance in filing for the satisfaction of a charge when a company repays its secured loan.


Plan Overview

When a loan is fully repaid, the company must inform the ROC by filing Form CHG-4. This form is used to report the satisfaction (closure) of a charge under Section 82 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Process

5-7 Days Estimate

Step 1
Obtain NOC: Get a written confirmation from the lender confirming the loan is repaid.
Step 2
Prepare CHG-4: Fill in details of the satisfied charge.
Step 3
File CHG-4: Submit the form with the ROC within 30 days from the date of satisfaction (can be extended with additional fees).
Step 4
ROC Review: Upon verification, ROC updates the record and issues a Certificate of Satisfaction of Charge.
